Some of the 18 million HRC was supported by may have said good bye, for good. If she meant what she said in the primaries, she just demolished it in post debate remarks.
This sham of a Democratic nominee posing as a candidate for president, being supported by HRC turns some stomachs. The koolaid is pretty powerful. Of course it is based upon fear. Even Hillary succumbed to fear not hope.
Words have turned out to be just words.
PUMAs, what do your words mean? What will you do to put your vote where your mouth is?
PUMAs, you may make the difference between Obama and no Obama.
Bless you all; you have not had the drink of the koolaid.
Cut the woman some slack. Hillary is doing what she needs to do in order to retain her position as a leader of the democratic party. She knows Obama’s shortcomings, as well as, or better than, we do. But just imagine what “they” would say if she wasn’t out there vociferously supporting him. They’d blame every setback on her. They’d probably call her a racist. Even though she’s been campaigning for him all along, “they” have still been saying she wasn’t doing enough for him.
Hillary’s doing what she has to do — she’s riding it out. And I’m sure she’s also doing a lot of swallowing these days, because of the vomit that rises into her throat when she endorses him.
Do you mean to say that Hillary did net get “Country be4 Party” ?
I am terribly disappointed.
A decent, and wise, politician would have cross the road to the other party.
I’m a moderate Republican who has always admired the shear political skills of the Clintons. Hillary knows EXACTLY what she’s doing. She’s defending the positions but not the man. I listened to her Gretchen Carlson interview. I did not see a Obamanut. I saw a woman who understood the realities–including any mention of a 2012 run (almost zero she said).
It’s the reality, folks. This is a time out of reality for the Clintons and Bill can get away with coming within a nanoinch of endorsing McCain, but he’s retired. Hillary isn’t. IF we can get the false messiah and his cult defeated, we will all live to fight another day: two strong parties, dedicated foremost to our country, to liberty and against the thugs who would steal both and bury principle to accomplish their goal.
I for one am so disappointed with Hillary’s actions. I know for her political career she needed to give some response of support, but to go as far as she has is uncalled for, she has gone along with the democrat party and has left her staunch supporters and the country under the bus. She stated over and over during the primary about how Obama was not ready to lead, and I believed her, and more important SHE believed it, her own words. So I have one question for Hillary, WHAT has changed? How has Obama developed so much experience in the past 3 months that now makes him qualified to be the president of the United States??? If she were the person I thought she was for the past 16 years, she would not be so eager to lie about this very scary candidate, that she is now pushing on the 18 million people that once supported her. She has broken my heart and I am not sure if it will ever be able to open up to her again.
Hill Is Doing What Is Best For Hill <<<<CHOA!!!That is what the Clintons have always done. Remember Stand by your MAN??????
Hey!!! When they don’t need you anymore they do THROW YOU UNDER THE BUS. Look at Obama and AYERS,WRIGHT,RESKO and ODINGA> Typical DEM. ACTION> Hill Doesn’t surprise me. Why are you so shocked now. Look at what DODD,PELOSI, FRANK and REID have done the last TWO YEARS!!! Get real folks before its to late. Vote COUNTRY FIRST..PARTY LASTTTTTTTT.
I don’t understand HRC either, unless Nobama promised her a spot on the supreme court. I would like her to stand up for ALL women.
HILLARY HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO SUPPORT OBAMA IF SHE WANTS TO CONTINUE AS A RESPECTED DEMOCRAT ( LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED TO LIEBERMAN). SHE ALSO HAS TO SAY SHE HAS NO INTENTION TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT OTHERWISE THE PARTY WILL ACCUSE HER OF WANTING OBAMA TO LOSE SO SHE CAN JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON IN 2012. IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE SAID WHEN ASKED
1) WHEN IT COMES TO BEING THE PARTY MAJORITY LEADER SHE SAID CHANCES ” ZERO”
2) WHEN ASKED ABOUT BEING APPOINTED TO THE SUPREME COURT SHE SAID “ZERO SHE JUST WANTS TO BE THE BEST SENATOR FOR NY AND HAS NO DESIRE TO BE ON THE SUPREME COURT.
3) WHEN ASKED IF SHE WOULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT SHE SAID “PROBABLY ALMOST ZERO”
IN MY OPION SHE WILL RUN AND WILL WIN IN 2012 AS LONG AS WE DO OUR JOB AND PREVENT OBAMA FROM WINNING
There comes a time when you can’t be playing both sides of the fence – I think we are fantasizing if we think that hillary is saying one thing, but really means something else in code. Look fellow PUMA’s, hillary has chosen her side, and that side is nobama! Whatever reasons she has for that (I dreamt for a while that she would surprise everyone by backing McCain) we have got to face it that she is NOT on our side – and that side is NOBAMA, NO HOW, NO WAY!
Lets quit pussyfooting around and get tough – face it that hillary is on the WRONG side. Quit worring about paying off her debt – send it to McCain/Palin instead!
WE MUST NOT BE DETERRED BY THE FOCUS ON HRC SHE IS DOING WHAT SHE MUST, OK, WE ALL MUST CONTINUE TO FOCUS ONNOT ALLOWING NOBAMA TO INHABIT THE WHITE HOUSE, LET US FOCUS ALL OUR ENERY ON GETTING MCCAIN/PALIN THERE FIRST, THEN WE CAN TALK 2012
I am not going to criticize Hillary even though I disagree with her profoundly. In my opinion there is a time to take a stand for what is right regardless of the consequences.
Hillary has made her choice and I have made mine. I will not support the Democratic party in any way, shape or fashion even with Hillary still in the Senate.
I love how she inspired me but that love affair is over. So over.
NObama!
Country First!
I have always supported Senator Hillary, but
recently after watching her campaigning for Obama has turned my stomach. I change the channel as I don’t want to see her boasting about Obama. I know she and Bill have their hands ties but they have NOT changed my mind about voting for McCain&Plain. I have switched party to
Independent and will be voting for McCain.
I do not like Obama’s idea of “socialism” and the idea that Obama wants to “spread the wealth” by increasing TAXES!! Why should my TAXES be “spread around” to people who do nothing but live on welfare????
I do NOT agree with Obama idea of “Infanticide”!!!! I do NOT agree with Obama giving “ACORN” $800,000 of his campaign donations to help them with their “fraud voter registrations”!!!! “IS THAT
HOW OBAMA WANTS TO WIN THIS ELECTION, BY CHEATING”??? Can you then
trust Obama as POTUS????? when he is cheating now!!!!
“MY VOTE IS FOR “COUNTRY FIRST” McCAIN.
For all of you that are wondering why Hillary is doing what she is doing…here might be one of the reasons. Draw your own conclusions, but after what I have seen in the last few days of researching, I can NEVER support Hillary or the Dems every again. The Democratic Party is dead and the socialists have taken over. Sorry to bust the bubble.
http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6965
i am shocked at hillary AND bill. How could she AND bill kiss the arse of obama after what he did to them????? I am shocked and angry!!! She IS the liar obama said she was!!!! Well, i guess the whole dem party has gone down the tubes…thank God for mccain and palin- they don’t lie!!!!!
Just shut up about Hillary and try to defeat Obama. I am an AA female supprter of hers (one of the 8% who voted for Hillary and who knew Obama was lying about the Clintons being racist) who is called a traitor and eveything else because I do not and will never support this lying, race-baiting, phony. YOU HAVE MY VOTE FOR MCCAIN TO HELP DEFEAT HIM. LET’S CONCENTRATE ON THAT.
I especially don’t appreciate Republicans bad mouthing Hillary. I also know that some Republicans helped Obama get where he is today by voting for Obama as “Democrats for a Day” to eliminate Hillary in the primaries. The only thing you Republicans didn’t contemplate was that your young white children would go crazy over Obama and possibly give him a victory in Nov. So STFU.
I was a die-hard Hillary supporter. I raided my vacation bank account to donate to her campaign, believing that Hillary as President was more important than taking my first vacation in a dozen years! I trusted her when she said she’d fight for us as long as we wanted her to.
Hillary let me down. She stopped fighting. She gave in to the sham of a role call vote. She’s gone far far above what ANY other senator has done to support Obama. She knows who he is, yet she blatantly lies for him.
I don’t care that she has a reason that I may not understand. What I do care about is that she has demonstrated that her loyalty to the Democratic Party, regardless of how it treated her, regardless of how it treats the voters, regardless of what that party has become, is more important than her own integrity.
If Obama wins, Hillary will not run for President again. She won’t go against the party and run against an incumbent Obama in 2012. And in 2016, it will be too late.
If McCain wins (and I can only hope he does) and Hillary decides to run in 2012, I’ll have to think long and hard before I decide to support her again. There will have to be some major changes in the Democratic Party over the next 4 years of the McCain Presidency for me to consider it.
I’m a PUMA now, and I’ll be a PUMA forever. And that means Country First!
Anybody see the clip on Fox News of Barkey talking about Joe the Plumber? Surrounded by his bratty tenderonis, making JTP the butt of his joke?
Barack Obama is SO not a MAN.
He’s a PIG.
What an F’er.
It disturbs me, Hillary campaigning for him. Back in the primaries she is the one who informed all of us about his lack of character, but as the general campaign has gone on she surely knows how seriously flawed he is. Just when I think it cannot get worse he stoops even lower. Disgusting.
We must work harder. McCain/Palin 2008
None of us are in a position to know what Senator Clinton’s motivation really is. Having said that, my suspicion is that she is dodging threats to her senate seat in 2010. At the same time I believe she is trying to support down ticket candidates that she feels will help her in the congress. I am not ready to give up on her, while at the same time I am doing everything in my power to see that Obama and his cabal are defeated. There is one bit of encouragement on that front. Sara Palin is due here in Indianapolis tomorrow to speak. I had intended to go, but it was just announced on the evening news that all the tickets to the event are gone. Given that the venue for the event is very large and the overall details were announced very late, I would say that there is a lot of support here despite ACORN bring voter registration to 105% of those over eighteen in Indianapolis.
To Wisewoman-
no one is critizing hillary – just saying to face the facts that she is supporting the other side; to face it and support the side we’re on.
There is no reason to get nasty about it – don’t we get enough of that from the democratic obamabots?
Wisewoman- I didn’t think you were being nasty.
i appreciated your comments.
I for one, am sticking by Hillary and will support her for 2012, if she runs.
I cannot, however, EVER vote for Obama.
McCain 2008
Hillary 2012
Political and Integrity are words that may not meant to go together.
Thank you and bless you all commentors.
Choices will be made and consequences will follow.
Hi, I am a Hillary Clinton supporter and just stopped by because I found this web site on the “Just say no deal” website, which I found out about while reading an article by Susan Faludi (from August).
I am from New York and on the New York ballot there is a party called ” Working Famillies” which has Obama as their candidate. I voted for him on this party because I am an angry with the Democratic Party. This was the best way for me to express this anger. I wonder if other states have this also because it is a way of sending a message to the dem party leadership without electing McCain.
I admire Hillary a lot and I support the issues she supports.
I have to accept Obama as president, confident that Hillary will have more influence with a democrat Congress and president AND if her supporters stick with her.
Thanks for listening.
Yeah Politician’s Does One Thing And Says Another,Comes 2012 I Want Believe, If She Decides To Run For The Presidential Office Not One Single Word That Comes Out Of Senator Clinton’s Mouth,Now Regardless Of Which Way You Decide To Look At Her Closet Dismantling Of McCain/Palin,For Everything She Said When She Were Running Her Campaign Has Regardless Of How You Look At It Will All Be LIES.
I For One Am Not In Love With Hillary Clinton,& I Weren’t In Love With Her During The Primaries,I Were In Love With Her Intelligence,Her Resolve,Ingenuity,Her (Honesty) Well Her Honest LIES,Her Qualification,Her Exuberance,Her Experience From Being An Integral Part Of Her Husbands Administration,Her Dissecting Knowledge Of Pure Facts,All Of That Is Gone For Me,And I Don’t Want It Back Ever Again,My Love Affair With Mrs Clinton’s Resolve,& Her Abilities As I Have Mentioned,Is But A Distant Memory Al Those Were Her Words Mind You,(Dress It Up Anyway You Like) Senator Clinton Had A Choice,It May Not Have Been The Best Choice But She Had A Choice, We All Have A Choice,And Mine Is To Distance Myself Totally,& Completely Away From A Woman I Had So Admired,Trusted,Believed In,Constantly Defended When It Were Not Politically Expedient,Or Wise In My Case,Because I Am An African American Male Whom Would Have Trusted Senator Clinton With My Life,& Those Of My Children,But I Now See That Would Have Been A Huge Mistake Of Great Proportion.
Now Because She Chose To Give Up Without Fighting To The End,I’m Left With A Decision To Make That Is Against Everything I Come To Believe In,Everything It Meant To Be Involved With For The Last 20 Months,Of My First Interest In A Political Candidate Ever,My Adoration I Acquired Throughout These Last 20 Months Of Her Genwuine Thoughtfulness,Her Integral Mindset For Thinking On Her Feet,Her Love For Her Country (OH WELL ONE OUT OF TWO AIN’T BAD).She Were Lady,& Gentlemen, The Idea Once In A Lifetime Presidential Candidates That You Won’t Be Able To Wake Up To Daily And Have The Exuberance To Get Involved With Politics When Nothing Else Mattered,For The Last 20 Months I Fell In Love With A Candidate In Politics Like Never Before,And Unlike Most Of The Obama Camp Mesmerized Lunatics,I Can Stop & Look At And Weigh My Options Between McCain/Palin,And I Must Admit It Isn’t As Hard As I Thought Palin/McCain All The Way To The White House,(Well I Meant McCain/Palin) I Can At Least Dream,& Wishful Think Can’t I.
I’m Sorry That This Post Is So Long But It’s Something I Felt That All Of You Whom Know Very Little About Me Because I Were Thrown Off Of Every Obama Blog Over The Internet,So I Did A Lot Of Cyberspace Jumping Voicing My Opinions Of NOBAMA,& His Band Of Merry Hood Thugs,So I Would Post My Comment And Before You Could Say (Who Were That Masked Man,Me,& Tonto Had Left The Scene Of The Crime Only To Return Day’s Later,To Make My Usual Cyberspace Interrogations Hit,& Run And Off Again(JACK-THE-RIPPER) I Have Since Acquired A Sensible Username (PUMAPACNC08) Which I Have Grown Accustomed To Since Joining My First Pro-Hillary Blog In Taylor Marsh Who At The Time Had The Only Pro-Hillary Blog That I Could Find To Come In And Share With People That Thought,Or At Least Shared Some Of My Views. Mrs Marsh Jumped Ship Before Senator Clinton Even Conceded Her Candidacy,And I Don’t Think I Have To Offer Up What Happen With Myself And Mrs Marsh,We Instantly Became Mortal Enemy’s,And I Could Live With That Scenario If She Could Live With Her.
So Comes November,4 2008 I Will Cast My Vote For Two People In Whom I Believe Will Guide This Country In A More Prosperous,& Dedicated Way Than Barack Hussein Obama…………………………….(Sarah Governor Palin/John Joe Plumber McCain) It Won’t Be My First Choice But In My Opinion It Will Be The Right Choice,And That’s What Matter To Me Most……(I LOVE THIS COUNTRY,& I WILL FIGHT TO SEE IT REBOUND FROM THE MISERY THAT MR OBAMA HAS IN STORE,TO CONTINUE)
I can not believe the things I’m reading here. PUMA began as a result of the disastrous primary season which threw Hillary under the bus. She was the inspiration and catalyst for this whole movement and now you all want to abandon her when she has no one else to turn to? Hillary is more intelligent than any of us could ever hope to be and is the president we should have had. She has to throw her support behind Nobama because if she ever has a hope of leading this country she has to for the moment, “play by the rules”. We all have to do things in life we don’t want to because if we don’t we may never reach the things we set out to fix. She was meant to fix this country and in time she will but we can’t suddenly decide that because she is backing her fellow democrat that she has sold out. She has no choice. If she were to criticize Nobama the media would call her a traitor and her political career would be over. If she was campaigning for him full force, which I don’t believe she has, she would be viewed as some of you are seeing her now. It’s a matter of doing what you have to for the moment in order to do whats right in the future. She may be supporting Nobama but her heart is not in it. Her heart is in the American people and knowing that she can do whats right for us. Why would she still fight for us otherwise. Her and Bill have enough money that they can retire comfortably on a beach for the rest of their lives but still they both fight on for those who can’t fight for themselves. Some may argue she is power hungry but to be real, what politician, including and especially nobama, isn’t? She is already one of the, if not the most, powerful women in the world and no one including her critiques can deny that. She will continue to fight for us even if she has to take a back seat for a man who should have never been here in the first place. I am disturbed by what I have seen in the PUMA movement starting as pro-Hillary and anti-voter/primary fraud to the Full-fledged Mccain backing camp it is now. We need to remember our roots and not forget what brought is here in the first place. We may not always like what we hear on the campaign trail but sometimes we just have to stomach it and keep on moving. I will support McCain this election because I believe he is better suited for the job than Nobama but I will never forget why it is that I have come to this place and I will not throw Hillary under the bus like Nobama and the rest of this country have.
jon,
how do you know what is in Hillary’s heart? She DOES have a choice – to either follow nobama, which she is doing, or do the right thing, which she is not. She is supporting him and you are fantisizing that she is not supporting him wholeheartedly.
Yes, Hillary is a fantastic, intelligent woman – but if she is all that we believe she is, she should have took a stand and not fallen in lockstep BEHIND the shoddy democratic nominee. If she does not want to stand up for what’s right now, when will she?
I don’t blame Hillary. Joe Lieberman is supporting McCain and the Dems have said come Jan. he is banished from the Party! Imagine what they would do to someone as powerful as Hillary? Lots of Republicans are supporting Obama, but they haven’t been banned from their Party or threatened in any way! Just another example of the Democratic hypocrisy, especially in a year their nominee is running as bi-partisan! Yeah right! Only if you are a bi-partisan Republican is it acceptable! I hate the Democratic Party right now, for so many reasons! This is just another one on that very long list!
McCain/Palin 08!
“Country First”
You know, just after the looooong and bitter primary, I had the sense that the democratic party was so permanently and seriously damaged that neither candidate if nominated would be able to win in November against the disciplined republican party. You know, I despise the Repugs with all that makes me tick but the reason they have been kicking our asses in 8 out of 10 elections since FDR is because they know how to fall in line. Take this years primary. The hostility between McCain and Romney’s supporters and the candidates themselves was considerable. However, after super Tue when McCain started building a close but unassailable pledged delegate lead he prematurely quit the race for the good of the party. He knew that the republican brand was tarnished and the fundamentals of this cycle favoured a democratic blowout at both congressional and presidential levels therefore their party needed time to coallesce around a nominee and do all things possible to get him elected. I also suspect he was promised the VP spot which would put him within a 72 yr old Melanoma threatened heartbeat or position himself for 2012. And it worked, the conservative base reluctantly but eventually rallied around McCain.
You see, that right there is the reason I was hopeless in July. The power of PUMA combined with doubts about Obama and genuine cases of prejudice and a disciplined republican effort would combine to defeat the Democratic nominee. I couldn’t predict what ensued. McStupid nominates way-in-over-her-head, worse pick than Quayle-Palin in some vainglorious attempt to get the PUMA movement behind him. I thought it was reckless and disproved fully his ‘Country First’ mantra replacing it with gimmickry pandering and greed to win the election first.
Just as I thought that the noble democratic party and it’s deperately needed principles would lose at the suffrage, Clinton, for whom I had lost an amount of respect during the primaries when she started employing shenanigans to drag on a race where she had no plausible way of reversing Obama’s pledged delegate lead, up and does the right thing for the country that she truly loves. She campaigns genuinely for Obama and ensures the evil plans of the ‘Denver Group’ do not materialise. The Dem party is saved disgrace and can start on the way to reconciliation and possibly victory. I was sceptical if the wounds of the primary could heal but just as hope was flagging, Wall st collapses giving a very grave and final indictment of Reagan/Conservative/Republican economic philosophy of free rein, no regulation corporations first, American People last. In a firm and decisive turn, Obama’s steady but slim 4 point lead expands to a staggering 8-12 pt lead and the electoral map experiences tectonic shifts of historic proportions sending the GOP on Defense in Indiana, Virginia, Florida, N.Carolina, Missouri, N. Dakota, W. Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, most recently Georgia. In two whirlwind weeks, the prospect of a McCain victory have become remote and that of an Obama blowout near inevitable.
This is the reason I am addicted to politics. Its’ sheer unpredictability. First the Dems made choices that significantly endangered any hopes of winning what should have been a sure thing. Then McIdiot throws the chance he was given by not nominating Mitt Romney and a series of poor judgments, the latest being the decisions to “Suspend his campaign” (Gimmick of the century!) then now to raise the Ayers/Rezko/Right angle this late just smirks of desperation and isnt working.
So dear PUMA’s that are left, go happily vote for McPain/Palin, lose the election and as some blogger said on politico, on Nov 5th, I will make one last swoop through you’re sad blogging world, Fox news and Rush’s radio program just to hear what you naysayers will be saying then and take this to a well capitalized bank, It will be better than the BEST sex I have EVER, EVER had!

get a life
Whoa there, ‘I’ should get a life? You know, unlike other ‘democratic obamabots’ as you so deride us, I actually feel a great deal of compassion and even pity for PUMAs. Here’s the thing, and I hope you can give me an intellectual response instead of a kindergarten one-liner; I truly believe that the whole PUMA movement was built on an ideologically bankrupt base of petulance and tantrum and that is why it is fraying especially when major events such as the collapse of wall street forced up the level of discourse. I have read you’re wistful posts on how Hillary is wonderful but has made the wrong choice and is supporting the wrong side. I could not respectfully disagree more. Unlike her most enamored supporters, like yourself, Hillary is actually an ideologue though in a non-Palin like way. She actually got into politics because there was a set of liberal philosophies that her and Bill believed in and felt were desperately needed for the collective good. She believes as does Obama and all true democrats that trickle down economics is a farce and the tax burden should shift from the middle-class to the wealthiest. Since the middle class is the consumer class, tax cuts for the middle class will stimulate consumption and allow struggling families to save and accumulate capital or send a kid to college leading to the amelioration of the lives of the more rather than the few. Meanwhile, McCain and his corrupt congressional allies are planning to double the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest and corporations despite evidence that has shown that instead of creating new jobs, greed takes over and they simply shore their record profits in burgeoning Hedge funds and more houses, best example being McCains’ 8 houses. Tell me how that helps create wealth?! It is because of this that both candidates are democrats and had the same tax plan.
That was just tax policy, I could go on and on but the basic point I am trying to make is that we don’t vote primarily because of personality. That is forgivable in the primaries but is sheer folly in the general as you don’t realize it but by voting for McCain you are working against you’re strongest Ideals and making a mockery of yourself and defeating the purpose of an election which is to have a competition of ideas and not sexes or personalities only.
If you didn’t understand why Hillary supports ‘Nobama’ its because they believe in the same things and are fighting for the same ideas to fix a broken idea. If she can forget the intense personal loss she has experienced and appear on the same stage with Obama as she did in Florida the other day, then you who simply lost the candidate of your choice should have a far easier time. Hillary will continue in her trailblazing story to shape American politics positively because of her passion, her grace her compassion and her class. As, in her words, begins work with President Obama to rectify the mess that the rethuglicans have wrought on our great nation will you still be in your immature world of inappropriate despair or will you finally realize that your ideas finally won and will finally have a chance to change America? Please respond with head and heart.
I am not supporting Obama because he cheated in every single caucus state and the Indiana primary. He absolutley did. It was co ordinated and planned. His campaign also hired a firm “Meyer’s and associates” to steal her delegates. There IS video tape of all this and TWO documentaries being made about it.
I will not vote for him either because he used a blood bath of misogyny in the primaries to his advantage and did not stand up to it.
Here delegates at the convention were bullied, harassed, threatened and replaced when they wouldn’t go along with the sham back room roll call. None of this is disputable. It happened and it’s unprecedented. If all of this had happened to Obama you wouldn’t say things such as “petulant” That’s bullshit.
I don’t take kindly to having my vote stolen. Especially not during HER historic race for the White House which she had to fight against being held to ten times the standard that empty suit Obama was. Obama also himself blatantly used sexism as did his wife. He lied about Hillary’s record and diminished it with those lies to puff up his own. I found that highly offensive.
Having said that. I know this. Hillary would have been black balled in the Senate had she not played along with the Soroscrats. They would have RUINED her and I have no doubt she was threatened with just that since they had no problem doing it to delegates. Furthermore, I am a little tired of fellow PUMAS expecting Hillary to jump ship on her constiutents in New York. If she HAD done that, she would NEVER have gotten another thing done in the Senate. They would have rendered her totally powerless to work for the people she PROMISED to work for. She also promised and gave her word to support the nominee and I’m sure that can’t have been easy since he wasn’t ELECTED he was SELECTED and it was a slap in the face of democracy and to every single one of her voters. But she HAS to keep her word or be blocked in every motion she makes. The people of New York would not much appreciate that.
If the media can destroy someone who had an eighty percent approval rating going in, a person voted the most admired woman in America OVER top of Oprah four YEARS in a row then ignore all that caucus cheating then Hillary sure as hell could have been ruined in the senate for good,. That helps no one. She cannot just “walk” on the peopel who elected her in her state.
Having said that, I’m not sure if I will ever bother to vote again after this. What for?? The entire system is so corrupted now. The D.N.C. has proven it’s worse than the G.O.P. It’s proven to be a sham, an organization that says it stands for certain principles and then throws the people who have worked their asses off for it under a bus, ignores cheating, lets misogyny reign without a peep. Encourages it even so the SOROS money will flow in.
I’m under no delusions about the left any longer. I saw more hatred and hypocrisy in the name of “democratic principles” this year than I’ve ever seen in my life. JFK and MLK are rolling over in their graves.
But I’m not excpecting Hillary Clinton to save anyone from those billionaires who bought her party. Its NOT within HER power!! And I for one as someone who have family that have worked with her on education initiatives will not stand for people bashing her. Don’t you think enough LIES and hatred were spewed at her and about her already??
She spent her whole life standing up for us and is still working for the state of New York. Maybe you’d like her to shove a broom up her keister and sweep the floor too?? I’m sick and tired of people who have little knowledge of her entire record bashing her and surely to god the least she can expect is for those who DO know her ENTIRE record to not pile on her now too.
I detest Obama. I think he turned this whole election into a farse that divided people along lines of age, race, class, and gender and continues to do so. He used the same dirty Chicago politics to CHEAT himself into the nomination as he has always used. Being smooth on the outside does not make you a decent human being on the inside. I’ve never seen a democrat run who has made me more ASHAMED of this party as he has.
Not to mention that I noticed very early on he is using Tony Robbins style NLP talking techniques in his speeches…it circumvents critical thinking and uses EMOTIONAL appeal to hook people. I saw it when he was repeating certain phrases, telling people at Obama camp to use “emotional talking points” When I saw him do that, realizing how manipulative this is, that’s when the first red flags about him went up though I might have STILL voted for him had none of this other bullshit started.
I blog with the name “Alice Paul”: for a reason. This year my vote was stolen, silenced, shut up and then I was told to vote for the same party that did this to me. It was the democrats Alice Paul fought for the right to vote…this year it was the democrats who cheated women out of that voice and vote once again. It’s UNFUCKING FORGIVABLE.
No other right is more important in America than this. if you stay silent and go along with what happened here then you are not liberal enough for me.

your tiresome tirades are not worth reading – find a nobama site to blow your hot air.
Still waiting for an answer from a PUMA that has at least some intellectual and ideological underpinnings, not another emotional barrage or empty one-liner from debra! Someone anyone? Do tell me that there is some rationale behind your decision to buck the party and principles that you once held a few months back. In the mean time real democrats everywhere are joining the Obama movement, latest average on TNR has Obama receiving 88% of self Identified Democrats’ support. And the PUMA coalition unravels.

if you guys are doing so well, why are you here looking for a fight? Nervous?
Yeah I gotta admit I am a bit nervous and by the way I am not looking for a fight. I simply hope to convert you or do my bit to have you see things my way. It’s what political blogging is supposed to be about. I mean we democrats have shown a penchant for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I am frightened to death that residual resentment in PUMAs, lingering race and cultural hangups and a range of other fickle factors could combine to rob this country again of yet another would be great democratic president then 8 years later we become bitter and form pitiful groups like code pink to protest the atrocities of unjust wars and reckless fiscal policy. Breaks my heart!
